Privacy, in plain words
Version 2026-10-22 · Last updated 22 October 2026
The Forge is built so that your work stays yours. This note says what we do see, what we keep and for how long. It is written for the Forge program, run by MarwoodX.
We don’t want your private information, and we never share it.
What stays with you
Your work, your clients, your ideas, your documents and other people’s names stay between you and your own AI. They never come to us. They sit on your own computer. Your AI’s notes about you, your rules and every copy of your updates are yours from day one. Only a few set answers ever reach us, and only after you say go.
What comes to us
Only a few set answers come to us automatically, and only after you say go:
- a short end-of-day check-in,
- a weekly update (every fourth week with three more lines),
- one-word messages such as Pause, Restart, Stop, More time, My push, Stay on, Member and Teach.
Those set answers never carry your work, your clients, your ideas, your documents or anyone’s names. They are a few chosen options and numbers, and we do not accept free text in them.
An AI reads your set answers to draft your weekly idea. Nothing you send is used to train any AI model.
We see which step of the course you’re on. Nothing of what you type.
How we keep it
We keep your set answers apart from who you are. The record of your answers carries a client code and no name, email address or phone number. Your name, contact details and payment records are held separately, and are used for billing and for reaching you.
When we look across everyone, we never show a group of fewer than five people, so no one can be picked out.
When you choose to send us something
If you are stuck you can send a message to the Forge team. Your AI shows you exactly what will go, with other people’s names, clients and figures taken out, and sends it only on your yes. We keep it encrypted, use it only to help you, and delete it once we’ve answered. If it is kept for any reason, it is deleted after 30 days.
Please keep these out of anything you send: other people’s private details, health records, bank or card numbers, tax file or ID numbers, and passwords. If something gets through by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.
A “what worked” note
Once a month your AI can offer to write a short note on one thing that worked for you. Names are taken out and you see exactly what it says. It goes only on your yes. We use what it teaches us to help other people, with nothing that points to you, and we never share your note as yours.
Your AI provider
What you type to your AI goes to your AI provider, under the privacy setting you chose when you set up. That is between you and them, and separate from what comes to us.
Our own record-keeping
We don’t put tracking pixels or tracking links in our emails, and we don’t track you across other sites. Our sign-in and billing use the details you give us at sign-up. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we keep the record of what you paid for your tax invoice.
The newsletter
If you give us your email address for the Forge newsletter, we send one email to confirm it, and then only the newsletter. Every issue has a one-tap unsubscribe, and when you unsubscribe we stop sending. We keep only the address and whether you confirmed or unsubscribed.
Asking for an invite
If you ask for an invite on our site, we keep your name, your email address, the one option you picked and anything you chose to write in the optional box. We use them only to answer your request. If we add you, what you wrote in the box is deleted. If we decline, the whole request is deleted. If nobody answers within 60 days, it is deleted too.
Counting visits to this site
We count visits to our front page as plain totals for each day: how many people came, which parts of the page they scrolled to, and which buttons were pressed. We use no cookies for this, and the counts hold no address and nothing about your browser or device, so we cannot tell one visitor from another. If your browser tells sites not to track you, the page sends nothing at all. Like any website, our servers also keep ordinary technical logs for running and securing the site; those are separate from these counts.
If you join through a partner
Your partner is a local coach or adviser who adds their own human help. They see your first name and your set answers, and nothing else we hold.
If your partner is a lead partner, they also read the weekly idea we write for you before it reaches you, because they check it. They see it with your first name and set answers, and nothing else we hold.
Asking about your information
Email us at hello@forgeprogram.au. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also read the terms.
